Arjaree Jobdeedamrong (Mod)

Mod was born in Samutprakarn and raised in Lopburi province (Thailand). In 2015, she graduated with a bachelor degree with distinction in the chemistry program of the Faculty of Science in the Mahidol University. She was supported by a Development and Promotion of Science and Technology Talents scholarship. In the last year of her bachelor degree, Mod synthesized a tertiary amine for polycystic kidney disease under the supervision of Professor Patoomratana Tuchinda. In the PhD program, she was interested in polymer and nanomaterials applications for drug-delivery and self-healing material. Therefore, she decided to study in the School of Molecular Science and Engineering at VISTEC under the supervision of Prof. Daniel Crespy. In the frame of her PhD thesis, Mod is now working on the preparation of hydrogels for biomedical applications with Professor Sugeun Yang in Inha Universty (Incheon, South Korea).
