Supitchaya Iamsaard obtained a bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Kasetsart University, Thailand and conducted a senior project in the synthetic chemistry group of Prof. Dr. Boonsong Kongkathip. She thereafter continued a master’s degree study in the field of organic chemistry at Mahidol University, working with Prof. Dr. Tienthong Thongpanchang. In 2011, she joined the group of Prof. Dr. Nathalie Katsonis at the University of Twente, the Netherlands for Ph.D. study, where she extended her expertise to molecular materials based on light-responsive cholesteric liquid crystals. In 2017, she was a postdoctoral researcher under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Daniel Crespy at Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC), Thailand. Her research focused on the engineering of smart degradable polymer for anticorrosion application. She is now working for the Company Essilor in Bangkok.
