Kuang was born in Bangkok. He graduated with a bachelor degree in industrial chemistry and master degree in polymer technology from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL). His bachelor thesis focused on the synthesis of polymers as compatibilizers in polymer blends. After that, he carried out master thesis under the supervision of Prof. Pathavuth Monvisade, working with chitosan derivatives. During his master study, he joined the group of Prof. Masayuki Yamaguchi at Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) for 2 months to study the properties of modified chitosan films. After graduation, he worked with Dr. Doungporn Yiamsawas at NANOTEC to conduct research on lignin and shellac nanoparticles. He is now a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Daniel Crespy at Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC). His research focuses on the preparation of nanoparticles and polymer conjugations with polymers from sustainable sources for anticorrosion applications. Kuang is now in the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz (Germany) for 2 years in the frame of his PhD study.
